It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The end of it.

I don’t know how you all are feeling about December this year, but I am thrilled with it! What a rough year we have had. For me, it was by far the most difficult time I have ever experienced. Not just with coming home from college, but situationally while at college as well. I am so thankful God blessed me with a way to overcome what once dragged me down and broke my spirit. Every month this year came with its rough and unpleasant trial and I am excited to put it all behind me and to be open and receptive to the new year ahead. I personally am taking December as a month of reflection, spirituality, gratitude, goal and vision setting, personal development and discovery, and to strengthen my relationship with Christ again.

I hope to use December as a reset button from everything that has occurred this past year. That way I will be ready and excited about tackling the new year. I have grown and changed so much this past year, and I plan to continue to develop my plans, goals, and dreams. I hope that with my Instagram Community and a few different opportunities ahead, I will find that I can work on school and what I enjoy doing without making it an idol or finding I put my self-worth in my creative work. I think that if you enjoy doing something and you are secure in who you are and what your genuine values are, then you do not have to worry about losing yourself to the shallowness and faceless values this world has to offer.

So, with that being said, I can’t wait to see what December has in store for me before the most stressful and difficult year concludes. I am also so excited for Christmas and all the holiday traditions throughout this month! Everything magical happens around Christmas as it seems to be a very happy time! I will be doing Christmas shopping for my family soon! I can’t spend much this year as I have been out of work for an excessively long time now, but I will make the best of it. I am most excited to have my favorite cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie on 24/7! Have you seen A Royal Christmas? I love it!

Have a great month!

New posts soon!
