Today I am thrilled to bring you my H&M clothing haul! Believe it or not, I was supposed to have a wonderful haul at the beginning of August, but plans changed and there was no such luck. I am now so glad I have some good quality jeans again as I will be going back to campus in January, where I will be finally able to get super cute outfit and college lifestyle pics. I find that trying to get outfit pics while at home is incredibly difficult even with a room and a backdrop. Perhaps it’s part of my perfectionism hindering me from creating cute pics to post, but I’d rather wait until the right time to get better pics that to rush it and get mediocre or just OK pics.
Anyway, you guys with that being said, here is my 2020 H&M haul!
1. The Straight High Ankle Jean in Black

These jeans fit me so well and I love the way that these look on me. I didn’t want to buy all skinny jeans again this time as I am hoping to branch out and explore new fashion choices. I have always worn plain skinny jeans which made for a very boring outfit pallet. These are pretty plain except for the fit which is fitted on the waist and loose straight down through the leg. I figured that I would try a new style of jean before I tried too many crazy fabrics and patterns.
2. The Straight High Ankle Jean in Dark Wash

These are an absolute dream! I really like the way these look on me as they are so much more than a basic skinny jean. The baggy slouchy look is really cool this season and I love how good I feel in these jeans. My younger version of me would be shocked that I would be wearing anything other than skinny jeans. You could pair anything with this style of jean from a button down to a sweatshirt.
3. The Straight High Ankle Jean in Cream

NEVER did I think I would be purchasing a cream-colored straight leg jean. First of all, not until recently did I start diving into cream, beige, taupe, and browns. I had an extreme dislike for the color cream as I thought it looked dirty, but it actually looks really put together and chic. 10/10 love this jean!
4. The Skinny Regular Ankle Jean In Dark Wash

What got me into shopping at H&M for jeans was the skinny regular ankle jean in light wash, because at the beginning of freshman year in college they were too baggy and just about a month ago, they barely fit. So, I went searching for the same jean but in a different color and bigger size. And yes, it was a success as I love the way this jean fits me!
5. The Oversized Joggers in Light Beige

Yes! This is one part of my closet I have been waiting on for years! I absolutely love the way a beige jogger looks in streetwear and I have been waiting until I found the perfect pair! These are oversized and sort of drown me but taper at the ankle so they still look chic enough to style for class.
6. The Oversized Joggers in Black

The absolute soft fluffy material of these joggers is heavenly. I know that these will be a favorite staple piece for so long! The black ones look good with so many of my tops and sweatshirts. I can’t wait to style them for class or a chill work day! They are so well made and I would recommend and buy again 10/10!
7. Oversized Sweatshirt in Brown

Oh. My. Goodness. They were not playing around when they suggested sizing down or even two sizes down with this incredible sweatshirt! This size medium swallows me whole like an XXL might! But I love the baggy fit and my brother even suggested I was giving off Billie Eilish vibes (which is fine by me because she’s ICONIC). This sweatshirt is a dark chocolate brown which adds to the coziness it! I love the soft fabric and fantastic quality. Also this is a mock neck sweatshirt which adds to the incredible trendiness of my new sweatshirt.
The only thing I will be returning is a pair of black dress pants which did not fit. However, I absolutely loved everything I received in this haul and all of the links should be correct under their picture! I did not discuss size, because I have gained weight and it makes me self conscious, but I highly suggest to size down in the joggers and to get your typical size in the jeans and do not suggest the dress pants lol!
Thank you so much for reading!
See you next time,
Ana Oelen
